clump
The Caustic Clump is a massive forest north of the RUSTY PEAKS. It's so massive that no one has made it through the entirety of it as of yet.
The Caustic Clump was once a verdant , living forest, full of life and foliage. Nowadays it is a festering corpse of a woods, fungus and spores infest the Clump completely.
The fungus infests all plant and animal life in the clump, creating monstrosities like MYCHOS. It is believed that the fungus is a giant hive mind, controlling all of the Mychos simultaneously whilst spreading it's toxic spores beyond the Caustic Clump borders.
The Clump is relatively unexplored as the Mychos cluster when the woods are disturbed. Many residents of RESPITE believe they should just burn the clump to a cinder, many object claiming that it keeps both MEAT MOUNTAIN and THE PLANT busy... and away from Respite
