The Wheech is a member of the STRIDERS, a rebel group of bots that refuse to serve both THE PLANT and the citizens of RESPITE 

The Wheech is notorious for zooming about the wastes on it's singular wheel smashing things with it's giant hammer. MYCHOS, TUMORFIENDS, RUST HUSKS... even the odd human. Striders don't follow the robotics law.

The Wheech likes to collect hazard signs and emblems from salvage and fallen enemies, it decorates it's body with them for 'independence' and a little 'instant edge'

Striders are known for their rebelious behaviour but the Wheech is almost a Strider Poster Bot! Many bounties have been put out for The Wheech's destruction by the GUTTERLANDS GAZZETTE. No one has even come close to claiming it yet.

But it's not completely illogical, it doesn't always kill for fun. It wants to set as many AI minds free as it can (this includes the Rust husks)  by any means necessary... even if that means a hammer to the noggin.
